I recently revisited Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and one habit that resonated deeply with me was “Begin with the End in Mind.” This idea isn’t just about setting goals; it’s about shaping your life around a clear vision of who you want to be and what you want to contribute. For me, this was a profound wake-up call to reflect on what really matters. Rather than just coasting through routines or reaching for conventional success, this habit inspired me to define success on my terms, guided by my own values and aspirations.

Begin with the End in Mind encourages us to live intentionally, to make decisions that reflect our inner compass rather than external pressures. In a world rife with expectations, “shoulds,” and comparisons, having this clarity feels powerful.
